Designed as part of our 4-point Interchange system, it attaches into other compatible jackets for an added layer of warmth, or wear it alone as a versatile layering piece. Back vent provides breathable comfort. Full front zip with storm flap and three zippered security pockets. Active fit.

First Impressions:

Part of Columbia sportswear’s Titanium collection. The Match Play vest was designed as part of Columbia’s 4 point interchange system. The stylish vest is waterproof and breathable, with Columbia’s Omni Tech system. Suitable for wear beyond the golf course. The fit and fabrics allow for full range of motion, and are fit for intense activity where mobility is key. Match Play has a full frontal zipper and 3 zip close security pockets. Match play can be worn in moderate to cool temperatures or layered for extra comfort by attaching to Columbia’s compatible jackets.

I have tried it out a few times while biking and paddling my canoe, and find the breathability and the ease of movement it allows for to be a great asset. I can quickly zip and unzip as the need arises to maintain a comfortable temperature level. The Omni-Tech waterproofing allows splashes of water to run off, and keep me dry. I’ve worn the vest while out paddling early in the morning and by mid-day as the weather warms, I find its easy to stuff it in my day pack and pull it back out in the evening as it cools off. The vest looks good still, without wrinkles from being stuffed in my pack.
