I received the Saucony Evolution LX Tank directly from the manufacturer for testing. It is made from 92% Polyester and 8% Spandex. It is machine washable in cold water and is hung to dry. I chose a size medium based on my past experiences purchasing running apparel. The tank fits perfectly, snug where necessary but looser in the midriff area. This is the way I like my workout tanks to fit for ease of movement. I have already found I need to wear a sports bra underneath — not for support but prevent the world from being able to see when I’m chilled! My favourite colour is blue, so I chose the vita option. As a side note, I am also reviewing a hoody in the vita/breeze colour. They look terrific together!
I have worn the tank on a few trail runs as well as at the gym. So far it performs as expected! I will update in approximately one month with a report on its performance.
I run mainly to exercise my dog, a very large German Shepherd with endless energy! I stick to trails until the snow flies then run on the road for the winter and return to the trail in the spring. My typical distance is 5 km, although I’ll pick it up a bit when having an inspired running day by adding a few kms. I also use my workout clothing indoors 5-6 days a week in the gym doing CrossFit or weightlifting.
