I received the Saucony Omni LX Tight II directly from the manufacturer for testing. The body is made from 92% Polyester and 8% Spandex, the insert is made from 96% cool plus Polyester and 4% Spandex. It is machine washable in cold water and is hung to dry. I chose a size medium based on my past experiences purchasing running apparel. The tights fit perfectly, snug throughout and the waist stays put when exercising. It has a drawstring but I haven’t had the need to use it. I chose the Black/Pink Shock option for the colour.
I have worn the tights on a few trail runs as well as at the gym. It performs admirably, although I do find them to be a bit warm yet for wearing in the gym past my warm-up stage. I will update in approximately one month with a report on its performance.
I run mainly to exercise my dog, a very large German Shepherd with endless energy! I stick to trails until the snow flies then run on the road for the winter and return to the trail in the spring. My typical distance is 5 km, although I’ll pick it up a bit when having an inspired running day by adding a few kms. I also use my workout clothing indoors 5-6 days a week in the gym doing CrossFit or weightlifting.
