Long Sleeve (Khaki) – Short Sleeve (Sage)

The Woolrich Elite Long Sleeve shirt is a great all-around shirt. Woorich offers the short sleeve version in this series as well. The colors that are available are Black, Khaki, Sage and Navy. Khaki and Sage are shown in the pictures. The Long Sleeve Navy color is what I am using for review purposes. Here is what Woolrich says about it.

These are the core Woolrich Elite Series shirts, available in long-sleeve convertible or short sleeve styling. Loaded with practical details, great features and trademark Woolrich quality.

Features

2 chest pockets feature hook-and-loop flap closures and an expansion pleat.

Left pocket features a pen opening at the top and a name badge tunnel.

Large zippered utility pockets located behind the chest pockets are ideal for documents or other items. Pocket extends from below the chest to the top of shoulder.

Double pen pocket on the left sleeve for ready access.

Three-piece ventilated back with polyester mesh beneath the top half lets warm air out and cool breezes in.

Dupont Teflon® Fabric Protector creates a breathable, durable barrier to repel water and oil-based spills.

Short-sleeve version offers maximum coolness.

Long-sleeve version offers adaptability: sleeves down for full sun protection and increased warmth, or roll the sleeves up and hold them in place with the sewn-in sleeve tab.

Underarm gussets on Long-sleeve version for comfort and vent holes for maximum airflow

Hidden button-down collar for clean, professional look.

Epaulets for style or rank insignia.

Easy care: machine wash, tumble dry and cool iron as needed.

As you can see, this shirt has tons of features. The reason I chose the Long Sleeve is that I am able to wear this shirt longer during all the seasons. Because of the convertible sleeves and the ventilated back mesh panel, this shirt will work almost year round depending on the local climate. The fit is just right and immediately after putting it on, I could feel the coolness of the mesh back panel. I am a big fan of pockets and this shirt has plenty of them. A couple of them are hidden which is nice for security purposes.
