Final Update on the GSI Outdoors Glacier Stainless Commuter Javapress

I have been using the GSI Outdoors Glacier Stainless Commuter Javapress for almost a month now. The Javapress has been very convenient to use since I do not have a coffee maker at home plus it is saving me some money, as I am not getting coffee on the run everyday. The Javapress is easy to use, clean, and the coffee brewed tastes great.

Injinji Performance Run 2.0 Socks – Update

Injinji Running Socks

Running the Saints Kickoff 5k

I have used both pairs of Injinji Performance Run socks to run and hike over 200 miles over the past month or so.  They have performed well, remained comfortable and most importantly, I have had no blisters!  Only a couple nitpicks – like all other socks, they don’t stay over my calves, and I got a random hole in one of the socks, probably from hiking through bushes at the Woodland Conservancy, but I am not really sure.  Read on for my full update!

JLab Audio Epic2 Earbuds

I like to listen to music and podcasts while running, but I find that I am hard on headphones. After destroying several nice pairs I decided to that it was easier to replace them with bargain bin specials than to continue to purchase quality earbuds.  However, I have been intrigued by Bluetooth Wireless headphones, since I usually destroy the cord in some fashion, including some models that are designed for sports enthusiasts so I was excited when I saw that 4alloutdoors.org would be reviewing wireless earbuds.  Over the next few months I will be reviewing the JLab Audio Epic2 Bluetooth Wireless Sport Earbuds.  Read on for my initial thoughts.

Mountain Khakis Granite Creek Shorts

Overlooking Lake Pontchartrain

I have used the Mountain Khakis Granite Creek Shorts over the past several weeks on dayhikes and on an overnight camping trip, putting over 37 miles on them over this time period.  They have performed admirably wicking away sweat and showing no signs of wear.  Read on for the rest of my report.
