Final Update High Sierra Tokopah 6.0

high sierra tokopa 6.0 The High Sierra Tokopah has been a faithful companion on all my bike rides save my recumbent which has a seat that wouldn’t allow me to wear the hydration pack.  So, I only rode the recumbent twice all summer. But that’s neither here nor there as far as how the test went.  To read the report including my final thoughts please click here.

Update: Ottolock bike lock

ottolock coy I have not had many opportunities to use the Ottolock, partly due to a busy schedule that has limited my riding opportunities, but also because when I did squeeze in an hour ride here and there I didn’t need to lock my bike.  I did manage to use the lock three times.  You can read my findings here.

High Sierra Tokopah 6.0 hydration pack update

I’ve been using the High Sierra Tokopah 6.0 hydration pack for a couple of months now and have liked having water available at anytime.  This is especially important when riding my bike or Elliptigo and much safer than reaching down for a water bottle IMHO.  I found some things I really liked about the pack and others I wasn’t so thrilled about but to find out read my update by clicking here.

Final Update: Thunderbolt Original Jeans

Thunderbolt Jeans I kept putting off my final update thinking I might somehow tear or damage the Thunderbolt jeans.  Boy, what a waste of time.   So without and fanfare I present my final thoughts on what has turned out to be just an outstanding article of clothing.  But to read the details you must click here.

High Sierra Tokopah 6.0 hydration pack

High Sierra Tokopah 6.0 I will be reviewing the High Sierra Tokopah 6.0 hydrationpack for the next few months.  It features a 2 L reservoir and a handy place to store a helmet.  There is enough room in the pack for a rain jacket and other essential gear I might need on a bike ride or day hike. Final Update: Slumberjack Lapland 20 F sleeping bag

Slumberjack Lapland 20

Home for the night

I used the Slumberjack Lapland 20 F on a 3 day 2 night trip along the Pinhoti Trail in east central Alabama. It turned out to be rather warm for January but I managed to get the bag wet. Did I mention we saw some storms… Anyways, the sleeping bag performed nicely, even when wet.  To read the rest of the update please click here.
