I have used the Ultimate Direction Marathon in 2 half marathons, 1 marathon, and numerous training runs putting in over 110 miles while wearing the vest. Comfort has been great with no areas of chaffing or rubbing. Durability has been good with no busted buckles or worn straps and practicality is also good with easy access to bottles and food. I still notice that it rides a little high compared to other packs and this can be a minor annoyance and I do feel like heavier items in the pack cause it to bounce more than other packs I have used. I have used the Thunderbolt Sportswear Marly T over the past month while hiking and camping in Southern Louisiana, and while running a marathon in Mississippi, and it has performed superbly. It is soft and comfortable to wear, does not show any durability issues and for the most part is stink free. Read on for my detailed update on the shirt’s performance.
The JLab Epic2 Earbuds have continued to perform well since my last update. Durability and comfort have been amazing and the sound produced by the earbuds is great. Playtime has met expectations with me getting between 11-13 hours of playback before needing to recharge. These earbuds have performed above expectations! Read on for my final thoughts.
November and December have been heavy racing months for me – I completed 3 half marathons, and a full marathon along with several 5k’s and 10k’s and the Injinji Performance Run 2.0 socks have been my constant companion for every race. Comfort and Durability remained excellent and I continued to be mostly blister free – though I don’t think it was an issue with my socks. Read on for my final thoughts.
One of my keys to running long distances is to make sure I have what I need close at hand. There are many ways to accomplish this task from handheld water bottles to vests and backpacks.
