I have not had many opportunities to use the Ottolock, partly due to a busy schedule that has limited my riding opportunities, but also because when I did squeeze in an hour ride here and there I didn’t need to lock my bike. I did manage to use the lock three times. You can read my findings here.
Unfortunately, bike locks are needed in this day and age. Perhaps they were needed early on in the history of bikes but were not readily available. The only problem, most bike locks are either heavy and bulky or small but not very effective. Which is where the Ottolock enters the game. A lock designed by cyclists who demand a lightweight but effective theft deterrent. I’ll be testing one for the next few months. To read my initial thoughts please click here.
