A week or so before Christmas, this box arrived from a company originating in Maine! Up for review are Acorn’s Rambler Mule Shoe, a sort of hybrid slipper shoe in my own words. Read on for what the company claims and my initial thoughts. Review link HERE.
When I received the Lowa San Francisco GTX shoe and pulled them out of the box I was immediately impressed with the style and look of the shoe. I was looking for a casual, comfortable, everyday shoe. I have worn them every day for most of the day since I received them and so far I have not been disappointed. Read more

So far I have worn the Wolverine Creek Bed shoes almost every day in some form or fashion. Hiking through the woods, streets and ponds around my house. Only one issue so far and that is pretty small. Check out the update here! So far I really like these shoes!
I think about the Spenco Siesta Cold Snap shoe as my first and last shoe. To be specific, it’s the shoe I put on when I wake up in the morning and the shoe I take off when I go to bed at night. It’s also the shoe I wear around the house. Shorty after getting these shoes, I put my old house shoes in the trash. I knew there would be no going back.
I’ve been running in the Pearl Izumi Peak II Trail Running shoes from Pearl Izumi for a month now. I’ve hit both the trails and pavement with them. Click here to see my update and how the Peak II’s have been performing.
The Pearl Izumi Streak II running shoes by Pearl Izumi came today and I was sad to say that they were too small for me. I didn’t see on the website where it’s stated that the race last in the shoe makes the shoe a half size smaller than Pearl Izumi’s standard shoe, so plan accordingly. I am normally a 9.5 in all my running shoes, but I had to go up to a 10 for these shoes. They come in four awesome colors and are reasonably priced for a great pair of running shoes MSRP $110. My initial impression of the shoes was positive besides the fit and I was quite excited to try them out.
