I have continued to use the Xero Shoes TerraFlex on my hiking adventures since my last update. They have been used while hiking rocky hill trails in the Bay Area of California and back here in the Southern parts of the United States. I have put over 200 miles on the shoes and they continue to look great with just some wear on the triangle shaped lugs on the sole. For my final thoughts please click HERE.

Life has been hectic, but I have been able to use the Gregory Paragon pack on two more backpacking trips since my last update – a week long trip with Big City Mountaineers in California and a long weekend trip along the Alabama-Tennessee border. The Paragon has performed spectacularly – comfort is top-notch; the pack is durable; and it can swallow all my gear including a bear canister and over a week’s worth of food. You can read my final update HERE.
After a summer’s worth of use the CGear Sandlite Mat has become a staple in my outdoor adventure kit. I have used it while car camping, backpacking and on trips to the beach. It is the perfect size for me to lay out camping gear or to use as a sitting pad on any surface. Click HERE for my final thoughts.
Over 100 miles of hiking and hours of wearing the Aspire socks at work have shown me these socks are the real deal. The socks are comfortable with a nice level of compression. The socks have also proven to be durable even after high mileage from long summer running to backpacking in California and Alabama. Click HERE for my final thoughts on these Swiftwick Aspire Socks.
