Exchange 26 Briggs and Riley…………

When I received my Exchange 26 Duffle Bag from Briggs and Riley I was very eager to try it out.  Everyone should own a great duffle bag and I think I have found mine in the Exchange 26.  I was checking out the features and was very impressed with the zip away panel that hides the amazing padded back pack straps for hands free traveling.  I love the multi-purpose use that it can provide for me on all my different travels.  It’s a beautiful color (ocean blue) and has great storage space for organizational purposes.   The pockets are very easy to access and there are durable straps to connect other bags.   It has a great shoulder strap as well for duffle bag travel; it’s two bags in one.  The main compartment is large and very accessible for quick and efficient packing.  If there isn’t enough room to fit all your clothes and gear it even expands 3 extra inches with one quick zip.  Then after filling it full there are compression straps to get it back to size.  I really like the handles on the top and sides of the bag that provide easy packing and movement.  It looks very promising and really heavy duty for all my rough adventures.  I’m very excited to put it to good use this weekend when I attend the AORE conference in Keystone Colorado.  I will let you know how it holds up during airline travel; we all know how that can be….

Check back in a month to see how it does……

Exchange 26 Duffle Put to the Test……..

I use my Exchange 26 every time I travel and I love it.  I was in dire need for a good, durable duffle to use for all my travels.  I tested it on a small SkyWest Jet, on my camping adventures, and everything in between.  I was happy to see that it fit pretty well in the overhead bin with some nice pushing and all my clothes stayed clean and unwrinkled.  The ID badge is easy to get to and you can register your bag to track your order in case of loss or theft.  It has great packing ability and heavy duty compression straps for a big load.

My favorite feature is that it converts into a backpack that is so easy to use and then hide awaywhen no longer needed.  You roll the flap into a lumbar support while using the bag as a back pack.  I used it when I had to run to my next terminal and it was so much easier than a bag with a side strap or wheels.  I was easily able to fit all my clothing, toiletries, running attire, shoes, etc…  There are pretty good organizing pockets for a duffle and the side strap is well padded for comfortable packing.  I absolutely love the handle on the top and two on the side for a variety of ways to carry it quickly.  It adds to the versatility of the bag, it’s really perfect for all of my outings.
The handles are nicely padded as well for less strain on my fingers while carrying a heavy load.  I did pack it so tight that the rubber on one of my zippers fell off of the main compartment.   It is easily fixed with a piece of nice string and there are two zippers so you aren’t really at any loss.  One thing I would like to see is a bigger pocket on the side of the bag for dirty clothes to stay aired and away from my clothes in the main compartment.  It has been a great bag so far, so check back for more details.

Biggs and Riley Duffle…….One Last Look

I have absolutely loved this duffle bag and have used it on every trip I have taken since getting it.  It is the perfect size for a quick trip to my parents’ or on a fun four day climbing trip.  It is very versatile, has great packing ability, and is easy to carry.  I haven’t had any issues with it at all and it gets used almost every week.  I pack it completely full and it can handle it and is still easy for me to carry long distances.  I love the construction of the duffle and the way it zips around the outside of the bag instead of through the middle.  This allows for easy packing and access to everything without messing up all my packing.  The outside material is very durable and easy to clean.  All the stitching has stayed strong and the zippers are easy to access and don’t stick at all.  I have used this duffle so much and it has held up better than any other duffle I have ever had.  I went on a trip to Jackson Hole last weekend and I took my Exchange 26 and it worked great for all my equipment.  I just can’t say enough good things about this duffle and I look forward to using it on my future outings and hopefully for years to come.  Thanks for reading and I would 100% recommend the Exchange 26 Duffle from Briggs and Riley to anyone looking for a great travel duffle to meet all their light traveling needs.
