Final Update – Lowa Seattle GTX Lo

The Lowa Seattle GTX Lo’s have been from New Orleans to Alaska and to the greater Washington DC region.  Overall, I am impressed.  They are a functional urban shoe that looks great and still has the chops for light day hikes. Read my final thoughts here.

The Tedinho low shoes were provided by Chaco for review purposes.

The Tedinho series of shoes is available in men’s and woman’s waterproof boot and low shoe.  The mens’ low is available in 2 colors, Tarvia and Black.  The woman’s low is available in Tarvia, Black, and Bungee.  The available sizes for men’s low shoe are 7 to 12 in half sizes and 13,14, and 15.  The available sizes for women’s low shoe are 5 to 11 in half sizes and 12.

The Cabo is part of a family of shoes in the Trails to Rapids family consisting of the Amazon, Baja, Belize, Cabo, and Panama for men and the Amazon, Atlantis, Baja, Belize, Boca, Cabo, Mexico, Panama, and Rio for women.

The weather has gotten better, but the rain fall has been above normal.  In this period I continued doing training hikes and a week of hiking in the Franconia Notch area of New Hampshire.

Of all the items I wear or use on a hike, I find that hiking shoes/boots require the most diligence in using the item prior to going on a 8-12 hour hike.  I do not want to get a blister or sore spot and realize that I have several hours to get back to the trail-head and a different pair of shoes.  To read more.
