Native Eyewear Catamount Sunglasses

Sporting the Catamount Sunglasses while hiking at the Woodlands Conservancy

I have sensitive eyes, and sunglasses are a necessity.  I am always on the lookout for sunglasses that I can wear for multiple sports such as running, hiking, fishing that still look stylish for wear around town.  I will be reviewing the Native Eyewear Catamount Sunglasses over the next few months to see if they meet the requirements to be added to the gear quiver.  Click HERE for my initial thoughts.

Update Epson ProSense 57 GPS Watch

Update Epson ProSense 57 GPS Watch

Woodlands Conservancy hike with Mia

I have used the Epson ProSense 57 watch for over 400 miles worth of adventuring and it has performed well.  It is easy to operate and does a nice job of tracking my hiking and running activities.  Durability seems solid.  The only nit pick is the battery life.  Click HERE to read my full update.

Update Cotopaxi Veloz Hydration Pack

Cotopaxi Veloz Hydration Pack

I have put over 100 miles on the Cotopaxi Veloz Hydration Pack running and hiking since my initial review.  The pack has delivered with plenty of space to hold everything I need for all day adventures and has been more comfortable than I expected.  Durability has been good with the exception of a tear beginning to grow where the front hook connects the shoulder straps.  Click HERE for my full update.

Update on the Salewa Pedroc Jacket

Update on the Salewa Pedroc Jacket

Styling the Salewa Pedroc Jacket while walking Mia at the Woodlands Conservancy

I did not have to search for Winter in the Southeastern United States this year and I didn’t need to search for opportunities to use the Salewa Polartec Pedroc jacket.  I used it during a 130 mile run from Baton Rouge to New Orleans, for wintery hikes at the Woodlands Conservancy and while camping in national forests in Louisiana and Missippi.  Click HERE to read my full update.
